Where it started

Let’s get straight to it, I am Rasmus and I LOVE e-commerce. This is why I have created this website. My passion for e-commerce sparked many years ago when I was an exchange student in Budapest, where I discovered how liberating e-commerce can be for anyone. Going back to Denmark, I decided to continue my business studies, achieving my Master’s degree in International Business Economics. While studying, I helped local businesses achieve success online by supporting them with online marketing, platform setup, strategies to earn more from each website visitors, etc.

Gaining knowledge

After finishing my studies in Denmark, I decided to move to the UK, to work for one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in Europe. Here, I started by launching and running a Danish website, making it one of the main websites for the division. In acknowledgment, I saw myself rising through the ranks, to become the Managing Director for Europe and Asia, launching and overseeing more than 30 different international websites across Asia, Europe, and Australia. Thus, ending up with being in charge of a well into the $200s of millions in annual turnovers. Seeing the company going from a few hundred employees to thousands of employees, and being part of one of the biggest IPOs in Europe, has given me a great depth of knowledge about the dos and don’ts in growing e-commerce businesses.

Achieving success in the e-commerce world has filled me with proudness and confidence, together with a lot of knowledge, that I want to share with SMEs around the world. My aim with Ecommerce Babble is to share the basic principles of e-commerce, which can enable everyone to succeed through a few simple steps. This will allow more companies, regardless of size, location, origin, and industry, to experience liberty and confidence in the way they live and run their business. The initial consultation is free of charge, during the initial consultation we will together identify any specific areas where your e-commerce business can be optimized and improved. After this, a set fee will be charged for the project.

The knowledge shared and worked with, is based on simple e-commerce principles, which can be adapted to any line of business.
